His Excellency Prof. Birhanu Nega, Minister of the FDRE Ministry of Education held discussion with UNESCO's Assistant Director-General for Education.
The discussion was focused on cooperation in enhancing the education sector using digital technologies.
The Minister highlighted the ongoing efforts being exerted to support the education sector by digital technologies.
In line with this, he gave an overview of the existing practices of digital technologies in the education system including university graduates’ Exit exam.
Furthermore, the Minister demanded UNESCO to further strengthen its support in the Ministry's move to make Grade 12 university entrance Examination online.
Meanwhile, UNESCO’s Assistant Director-General for Education, Stefania Giannini on her part has expressed UNESCO's interest to further strengthen its collaboration in the education sector
