“No mask No service” national campaign is to start in schools.

Ministry of Education and Ministry of Health briefed media on the launch of the "No mask No service “campaign in all schools.

Education minister Getahun Mekuriya (PhD) said the precautionary measures during the opening of the schools have been implemented properly but some negligence is observed recently.

The minister noticed that, as the campaign will be held in all schools starting from February 2 2021.

The Minister of Health, Dr. Liya Tadesse, on her part, said that due to the increase in the spread of the disease worldwide and the emergence of a new COVID epidemic, special care should be taken than before.

She added great care must be taken not to escalate the epidemic and not force us to close the reopened schools.
While the campaign begin on February 2,2021 students and teachers at all schools will walk near their schools to create awareness with the message, "No mask No service”

Following the reopening of schools nationwide, more than 90 percent of schools have begun teaching and learning process.
