Reverencing landmark education roadmap researchers
When awarding recognition certificates, Former Minister of Ministry of Education (MoE) and now United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) Repetitive to Ethiopia Dr. Tilaye Gete congratulated the awardees researchers appreciating their relentless contributions in realizing the roadmap.
According to Dr. Tilaye, besides the source of finance, the institute to conduct the research was one of the main issues. Along with forming the committee, the coordinator and six leading researchers were also selected. Then they passed into concept notes preparation facilitated by Professor Tirusew Tefera. But, when roadmap preparation was commenced there were various issues, Dr. Tilaye said.
Acknowledging researchers’ contributions, Science and Higher Education Minister Professor Hirut Wolde-Mariam said that education and training policy roadmap national project is a great national agenda. “I read the research finding document repeatedly. It is a great study with comprehensive approach. It included all-round assessments with possible recommendations. Such kind of work deserves recognition,” she added.
